Christmas and New Years!

CHRISTMAS!

I am so happy that I was home for Christmas. For a while, I was worried Borders wouldn't give me enough days off to spend the holiday with my family. Even though I only got 4 days off (well, technically only 3 bc on the 4th day I had to drive back to Gainesville), I spent like every minute with family! We had Family Game Night! Taboo! Matt and I beat mom and dad! Dean Anthony's pizza! Grandma's sauce for dinner! Watching a WHS soccer game and seeing Mike play! Christmas morning present opening and dorky posed pictures of us holding up our gifts once we opened them! All 6 of us watching "The Hangover" at 9:30 Christmas morning! Cookies making with mom and grandma!

Christmas present highlights:

3. Set of knives!
4. DVD player!
5. Sweaters with matching scarves!
6. Glitter headbands!
7. Cute shirts!
8. Money!

LOEF hangout was so so so much fun! I was so happy that I was able to see almost everyone!

Chris was in Tennessee with his family so I wasn't able to spend Christmas with him. I wasn't that sad at first because I was in Wellington with my family! What was sad was coming back to Gainesville and being all alone for 5 days. In our apartment without him. No one to make sure I don't slip in the bathtub and die. No one to give me the heimlich in case I choke on dinner. No one to make sure I get home safely after work at night. No one to snuggle with and watch TV with. No good morning or good night kisses. I don't like being alone for that long. But he's home and I can go back to dancing in the shower without fear of falling and dying without anyone knowing!


NEW YEARS EVE!

While Chris was in TN, Borders friends quasi-asked me to hang out with them for NYE. I wasn't sure if they were being serious or just being nice, so I just smiled and said "I'll see". Chris had plans to go to his boss's house for NYE and I didn't really want to do that. Thankfully, I got a text from worker friend asking me to join him and the gang for downtown festivities! Hooray! I wore my new skinny jeans, tank top, glitter headband and glitter shoes! I looked hot! Chris was freaking out! He wanted me to change into something else bc he said I looked too sexy! He didn't want me going downtown bc he was worried about what might happen! I was so excited when he was going off like this bc it meant that he still loves me enough to feel over-protective of my honor! I know that sounds really rediculous, but I liked it!

I met the gang at Common Grounds! Everyone was super surprised to see me! No one thought I would actually show up! Haha! I had a Blue Moon and drank the whole thing before midnight! As pathetic as it sounds, after that one little cup of beer, my head was already a little sloshy! So lame! We rang in the new year at CG, and then walked to The Atlantic! I got a Sex on the Beach there and drank that too! We danced until the bar closed at 2:00! I got a text from Chris at 1:30 asking where I was and when I would be home! Haha... he was at home worrying about me! But The Atlantic was where the night got all "The Hills" on us. (Walf. Me. You. Talk.) Some random guys tried dancing/talking to me. It was nice to know that I still have "it".

Even though there were plans of going back to someone's house after The Atlantic, I decided to go home. It was late, I wanted to avoid a potentally awkward confrontation, and I had to get up at 9:00 and work, so I bailed. I got home at 2:30 and Chris was up waiting up for me! I love Chris! Drama from earlier in the night carried over and I got all these text messages. I didn't sleep until nearly 4:00. Goodness!

New Years Resolutions:
1. Be a better person
2. Use bigger words
3. Stop cracking my knuckles (already broke this one. Didn't even last an hour!)
4. Make every day a dance party
