The reason I'm writing this particular post is because I want to make sure that when I'm 80 years old and reading about my life that was, I want to remember this day...
I just found out that my sister was arrested last night! HAHAHAHAHAH! On charges of assault with a car key. She was handcuffed, booked, mugshot-ed, fingerprinted, put behind bars! Mom had to pay $3000 in bail bond to get her out!
She had this old boyfriend named Jeff, and their relationship was nuts. When they were together, he was a great guy, but they would always break-up. And when they were broken up, Jeff would go crazy and stalk Kaitlin. He would spy on her, send her threatening text messages, verbally abuse her. Yet they would get back together. Mom wasn't too worried during the school year because Kaitlin would be at FSU and Jeff would be in Wellington, but over this summer it got bad. Kaitlin and mom tried to get a restraining order against him because one night he started punching Golfie and broke her cell phone by throwing it against his house. Yet Kaitlin would give in and hang out with him again because he would appologize and buy her gifts.
Anyways, last night she was hanging out with Jeff and her BFF Ashley at one of Jeff's friend's houses. Sometime during the night, Kaitlin and Jeff went outside and they got in one of their fights. Apparently Jeff pushed Kaitlin down on the ground and started yelling at her, so she got up and swung her car keys around to make sure he didn't come near her. Jeff got too close and Kaitlin cut him in the face/neck with the keys. He went inside the house, told his friends that Kaitlin went crazy and just started attacking him and that he's going to call the cops. Jeff convinced his friends to tell the cops that Kaitlin attacked him unprovoked and that she's bi-polar and schizophrenic. The cops came and Jeff and his friends told their version of the truth, while Kaitlin and Ashley told their version. In the end, Kaitlin was hauled off to jail because she did "assault" Jeff with a weapon.
Her court date is next weeks so mom and dad have to find a lawyer. Technically, I guess she's facing a felony charge. Mom is hoping to get Ashley to tell the judge about Jeff and how he's lying about what really happened, and she's hoping that Kaitlin saved those threatening text messages.
Freakin hell, Kaitlin was arrested!
