Odds and Ends

A wrap up of some events that took place over the past couple of days...

  • Went out to lunch with Ali, Stel, Walf, and Sarah! I can't believe I'm never going to see Ali again. (Haha, just kidding Ali!) Plans need to be made for a game night! I've already started reading the dictionary just so I can beat everyone at Boggle!
  • Finished reading "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society". It was a cute story. Once again, it was a book where you kinda knew what the outcome was going to be in the end.
  • Started reading "Water for Elephants". I really like it so far!
  • Learning about the Chain Rule in Calc class. I HATE the chain rule. I had derivatives and math!
  • The new season of So You Think You Can Dance is on! However, the show is on Wed nights at 8:00. I have class that night until 9:30 and can never make it home on time to see even the last 5 minutes. Sad.
  • Chris left to visit his family in Tennessee on Monday and he's not going to come home until Saturday. Sad. I miss him, especially when I'm coming home at 11:00pm from work and everything is dark and spooky.
  • Speaking of Chris... if he likes it then he better put a ring on it! I got asked out on a date by a customer at work! He came in last week and bought "Fanboys". I told him that I totally want to see this movie. He said he'd come back and let me know how it was. I thought nothing of that until he came back Tuesday. I asked him how it was and he said it was really good. I told him that I would have to move it up on my Netflix queue, to which he responded, "or you can just come over and we can watch it together". Freaking hell! I just kinda smiled, said "Cool", put the books he just bought in a bag, gave him his bag, and said, "Have a great evening". I think my lack of jumping up and down at his offer stopped him from giving me his number. He looked kinda sad when he turned to walk out of the store.

I think that's it.

  1. haha I remember when Walf worked at JC Penny and she would tell us about getting asked out at work. Now we get to hear your stories!

Maybe we can do game night tomorrow night. You said you're not working right? We have to be up early Saturday, but it could work!
